Conditions Générales de Location – CGL TOTTICAR

These General Terms and Conditions of Rental (hereinafter "CGL") govern the contractual relations between TOTTICAR, a car rental agency in Tunisia, and any physical or moral person (hereinafter "the Renter") making a reservation or renting a vehicle from the agency, whether via the website, WhatsApp, phone, email, or directly at the counter.

Any reservation implies full and unreserved acceptance of these conditions.

To rent a vehicle from TOTTICAR, the main driver must:

• Be at least 21 years old;
• Hold a valid driver's license for at least 2 years;
• Present the original documents required at pickup.

For premium vehicle categories (SUVs, luxury sedans), the minimum age can be 25 years old with a license held for at least 3 years.

Licenses issued in European Union countries, Canada, Switzerland, and most French-speaking countries are accepted. An international driver's license might be required depending on the country of issue.

At vehicle pickup, the Renter must present:

• A valid passport or national identity card;
• A valid original driver's license;
• The booking voucher or confirmation received by email or WhatsApp;
• An accepted payment method.

TOTTICAR reserves the right to refuse vehicle delivery if documents are incomplete, expired, or do not match the renter's name.

Bookings are confirmed upon validation by TOTTICAR. Cancellations are free up to 48 hours before pickup. Late cancellations may incur a fee or be converted to a credit note valid for 12 months.

Our rates are all-inclusive (VAT, standard insurance, assistance, unlimited mileage). Optional services (GPS, baby seats, CDW) are charged separately. We accept international credit cards, bank transfers, and cash on delivery (€, $, TND).

A credit card pre-authorization is required at delivery. The deposit amount ranges from 500 € to 1500 € depending on the car category, covering deductibles, fuel shortages, or traffic fines. Cash deposits are accepted exceptionally for diaspora clients.

Third-party liability is included by default. The Renter is responsible for damages up to the deductible amount unless premium CDW insurance is purchased. 24/7 roadside assistance is included nationwide.
